Gresso Tech
Now this is lux! When I hear Pharrell of The Neptunes bragging about his gold BlackBerry, I kind of chuckle to myself. While having your cell phone shrouded in gold is no doubt a testament to your wealth, it doesn't really say anything about style or class. It's still a BlackBerry.
I recently discovered this Russian company called Gresso. It puts Vertu phones to shame as far as I'm concerned. The casing is made of 200 year old African Blackwood and gold. If that's not luxury enough for you, there are other models that have full gold keypads and, of course, diamonds.
I also spotted some other pieces of theirs that really blew me away from a design standpoint. An mp3 player and a couple of USB flash drives. If you wondering how to get your hands on any of this stuff, the only authorized retailers are in Russia. Nothing is available online.

There's a fine line between luxury and absurdity. Who the hell needs gold and diamonds all over their flash drive? Does no one appreciate simplicity anymore?
I hear you Solid, but art is everywhere. I think they are over the top too, but they are still tasteful.
