Bueller Da Don - "Threat & A Promise" Music Video
Hey, Buell ... stop using cheat codes! How the hell did you get the airport to let you shoot inside?
The first video to release from the 'Cruise 2 Fame' project was quite some time ago. It was out well before the album itself was released. Though several singles have dropped, as well as videos for collaborative efforts, there wasn't a new video single until now.
I was hoping for a video for "Forgive Me" but we are surprised by album intro "Threat & A Promise" instead. Bueller Da Don is one of the hardest working indie artists I know and it shows in this super dope music video. As a matter of fact, this is one of the best visuals I've seen from Bueller Da Don.
Of course, producer White Mike holds production down nicely and provides a strong and stirring canvas for Buell to paint on. Very clean product that I'm rockin' with for sure. Stamp this one.

Lianne La Havas - "Lost & Found" Music Video
I ... LOVE ... this woman's work! The weather is far less than ideal today; it's cold and rainy. However, Lianne La Havas' stunning beauty and talent have completely warmed me up. I've watched this video 6 times in a row.
The UK singer/songwriter has been making waves in the US and continuing the trend of UK based soul singers who are keeping "Old Soul" alive while our home grown "R&B" artists venture out into Pop and Dance music. Lianne's 'Lost & Found' EP will release on April 30th but is available for pre-order now. 'Lost & Found' is a re-release of the UK only 4 track EP from October of last year. Adding 2 new tracks and remixes, she plans to continue her push into worldwide prominence.
Get into this beautiful song and video and let me know what you think in the comments.

Real J Wallace - "The Diz" Music Video
The Jahfather of Soul Cal is back with another visual from the perfectly curated project I introduced you to here. Now working on a full length documentary, Real J Wallace gave me this early visual that will be included in the project which will also have a complete soundtrack.
I'm thoroughly diggin' everything he's dropped so far. The Diz isn't his sharpest video release but the music is all groove sauce. Check it out below...

D.A. the Future - "I Don't Owe You!"
Strong Island ... what up!?
I've been itching to hear some new music from D.A. the Future since I first heard him several months ago. This fellow has a fire in his belly unlike ... pretty much anyone I've heard in a long time. I'm talking about that old school street ass street talk rappin'. The cloth that Tupac, Freeway, K'naan, Beanie Sigel, Sean Price and the like were cut from. If you don't know how those artists fit together then you should probably just skip this post.
I'm just sayin'...
This is one of the exact reasons why I love writing for this blog. This is the type of music that I live for. This is the music that I buy and support locally at shows and events. D.A. the Future is nothing if not dynamic and his energy and effort inspires me to be better at what I do. That type of thing is rare. I could post a bunch of mediocre music every day or I can be patient (and wrong by blog standards) and wait for the right music.
"I Don't Owe You!" is unadulterated Hip-Hop. Producer Vinny Idol @$*!@& this @(#$& UP! D.A. was definitely on my watch list but after this, he's one of my favorite rappers period. Get into this track and you may feel the same!

Baiyu - "Take a Number" Music Video
image via www.baiyuonline.com
It's been a minute since we last got a visual from Baiyu. We've seen that she's deliberate and calculated in her career moves and it has definitely paid off for her. Her FreEP "Fan Fair" was downloaded a phenomenal 200k+ times! That just goes to show you that working a project for it's full lifespan makes all the difference in the world.
"Take a Number" is Baiyu's club anthem for all the girls with scores of lame suitors. The video does not feature Fred the Godson, who's featured on the album version. Either way, Baiyu is a super dope vocalist that stands on her own and I definitely see a breakout on the horizon. If you haven't downloaded "Fan Fair" already, hit the stream/download link below to get yourself up to speed. Enjoy....
