David Rush - "Welcome to Rushia 3: No Backup Plan"

Добро пожаловать в Россию! That's "Welcome to Rushia!" for the rest of us. Well, welcome to Russia actually, but you know what I mean.  The 3rd installment in the series hit the web today courtesy of XBMG. Subtitled "No Backup Plan", David makes it clear that his music is his livelihood and that there is no other option. 


His determination and dedication are apparent in the work. The disc is full to the brim with quality material. David's sound is generally characterized by synth heavy tracks with catchy melodies over classic 808 drums. The album is truly cohesive and that fact is largely supported by producer Pointblank who provides 6 of the 15 tracks. The rest are handled by a handful of other producers.

David Rush Birthday Party

Chris Michael's in NJ played host to the birthday celebration for XBMG/Universal recording artist David Rush last night. It was a wall to wall affair of partygoers shaking off the effects of the cabin fever this winter brought. Shorts, mini dresses, tees and halter tops were the items of choice for the ladies and the fellas were finally free to come out in just a shirt.

Guests rocked out to the music of DJ Mark Amatucci as he took us through "fist pumping" staples, Hip-Hop and Reggaeton and a new track released by Rushia just for his birthday. Check below to listen and download.

I had a great time hanging out and throwing my fist to the sky like a pro. A very happy birthday wish to David Rush. Another year in the bag, Baby! POWZER! Here's to many more. Check out these select photos from the night...

David Rush - "Live Hard" Video

I bring this post to you with the most love my heart could possibly muster up for you.  I ask for your forgiveness in advance if this post seems a bit nonsensical at points. I'm so overcome with emotion right now that I may lose my focus over the course of this write up. I'm literally in tears as I write this. So much so that I've caused my son to worry about me.

While the opening paragraph may suggest otherwise, this post is not about a sad situation. This post is about life, trials and success.  It is my hope that you will be inspired to reflect, grow and evolve as a human being.

I have been fortunate enough in my lifetime to experience some incredible things. Not all blessings come in the most attractive of packages so the beauty in the pain and triumph captured in this music video by recording artist David Rush caused a flood of emotion that I can't adequately capture in this post. If you've every experienced something as harrowing as this, then you'll understand. I have and I'm thankful for every experience that shaped the man I am today. I could have had a very different life, but I didn't.

To that wonderful reality, inspired by David Rush, please share in a virtual toast to life with me as you soak up the sounds and images of "Live Hard".
