David Rush Birthday Party

David Rush (rt.ctr.) with family and friends.

Chris Michael's in NJ played host to the birthday celebration for XBMG/Universal recording artist David Rush last night. It was a wall to wall affair of partygoers shaking off the effects of the cabin fever this winter brought. Shorts, mini dresses, tees and halter tops were the items of choice for the ladies and the fellas were finally free to come out in just a shirt.

Guests rocked out to the music of DJ Mark Amatucci as he took us through "fist pumping" staples, Hip-Hop and Reggaeton and a new track released by Rushia just for his birthday. Check below to listen and download.

I had a great time hanging out and throwing my fist to the sky like a pro. A very happy birthday wish to David Rush. Another year in the bag, Baby! POWZER! Here's to many more. Check out these select photos from the night...

Klippers Barbershop - Elizabeth, NJ

I love people who take their craft seriously. This crossed my radar today and I just had to share it here. I have a friend that lived in Elizabeth but recently moved to West New York. I will be making a stop by this shop the very next time I go visit Jersey Gardens.

It's wonderful to see someone that's been a barber for 15+ years adapt to today's market and sell himself and his establishment in a way unlike any other barber I've seen or heard of anywhere. This was a brilliant idea as far as I'm concerned.

Nets vs. Heat

A few friends and I went to the Nets game tonight.  The home team took an "L" but we had a great time.  After the game we hung out with a few of the players from the Heat.  We talked and laughed for about a half an hour before the team manager called for the players to grab all of their stuff and head for the bus.  They signed a few autographs for the young ones in attendance and posed for photos.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the evening...

True NBA fans will hate me for this but Hall of Famer Bob McAdoo was there as well but I didn't take a picture of him.  I did watch him sign a few autographs though.  I was too busy listening to the "Where the hell is Rafer Alston?" story.  Please forgive me.
