David Rush Birthday Party

David Rush (rt.ctr.) with family and friends.

Chris Michael's in NJ played host to the birthday celebration for XBMG/Universal recording artist David Rush last night. It was a wall to wall affair of partygoers shaking off the effects of the cabin fever this winter brought. Shorts, mini dresses, tees and halter tops were the items of choice for the ladies and the fellas were finally free to come out in just a shirt.

Guests rocked out to the music of DJ Mark Amatucci as he took us through "fist pumping" staples, Hip-Hop and Reggaeton and a new track released by Rushia just for his birthday. Check below to listen and download.

I had a great time hanging out and throwing my fist to the sky like a pro. A very happy birthday wish to David Rush. Another year in the bag, Baby! POWZER! Here's to many more. Check out these select photos from the night...

RoxFontaine.com Commercial

WORLD PREMIERE!

First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to Purple Steel Productions' Christine Pigott for putting this together so beautifully!

Here is the premiere of my first commercial. I've been courting this idea for months and finally, I have a finished product. If you follow this blog, you know that I'm always pushing to be more creative, unique and inspirational. I'm very happy and proud to reveal this to you all and I hope that you will share it with others.

Without further ado....

'Monumental' Teaser

'Monumental' is legendary producer Pete Rock teamed up with Duck Down pioneers Smif N Wessun. This backpacking Hip-Hop nerd delight is scheduled for a June 28th release.  This teaser video features the track "That's Hard" featuring D-Block's Styles P and Duck Down's own Sean Price.

The couple of leaks I've heard so far are heavy on the head nod, so I'm looking forward to this album. Duck Down has been on a total rampage since Sean Price's string of mixtapes reignited the label starting around 2003.  They've become one of the most exemplary independent labels in the industry, inspiring several copycats.

Check the teaser below and let me know what you think.

Young Jinsu - In Studio Footage

Check out this exclusive in-studio footage of Young Jinsu working on some new music with Grammy award winning producer Dawuan Parker. Dawaun has some incredible credits under his belt! Signed to Aftermath, he's produced huge hits for Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and Eminem. Video is low quality but the sounds are the focus anyway. Listen to Jinsu talk through ideas and freestyle over a couple of beats.

This is a great look for Jinsu. He's constantly evolving and sharpening the skills that earned him the name Jinsu in the first place. I can't wait to hear what his first major release sounds like!
